The successful candidate will be responsible for project investment underwriting, maintaining underwriting guidelines, and ensuring accurate financial modeling. This role involves managing the financial analysis department, mentoring the team, and overseeing the review of project financial models. The VP will also be instrumental in creating and presenting investment recommendations, evaluating the company's competitive standing, and driving initiatives to improve economic results. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in finance (MBA strongly desired), renewable energy and energy storage experience, and a minimum of 15 years in project valuation, underwriting, or investment banking. Leadership experience in managing a team of financial analysts is essential, as is a proven track record in executing commercial transactions. The role requires advanced skills in financial modeling, a high level of initiative, and the ability to work in a cross-functional environment. The VP will also be involved in commercial and strategic transaction execution and will manage the financial analysis function to support new financing transactions. Proficiency in MS Office tools and the ability to travel as needed are also necessary for this position.
