Job Description:

As a Senior Red Hat / LDAP Engineer, you will play a critical role in managing, optimizing, and supporting the bank’s infrastructure, with a focus on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and LDAP-based identity management systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) Administration:
• Lead the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Red Hat Enterprise Linux servers.
• Ensure RHEL systems are optimized for performance, security, and compliance.
• Automate tasks using shell scripting, Ansible, or other automation tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex RHEL system issues related to hardware, software, and networking.
• LDAP Administration:
• Manage and support LDAP directory services (e.g., Red Hat Directory Server, OpenLDAP, or Active Directory).
• Design, implement, and maintain LDAP architecture for identity management and authentication.
• Administer user accounts, roles, permissions, and integrate LDAP with other systems like Active Directory, Kerberos, or SSO solutions.
• Troubleshoot LDAP replication, schema issues, and perform regular system health checks.

Qualifications:

• Technical Skills:
• Strong experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and its associated tools.
• Extensive hands-on experience with LDAP (Red Hat Directory Server, OpenLDAP, or similar).
• Solid knowledge of authentication protocols like Kerberos, SAML, and SSO.
• Proficient in shell scripting (Bash, Perl) and experience with automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet).
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
• Experience:
• 5+ years of experience in a Linux/UNIX environment, specifically with RHEL and LDAP.
• Experience with enterprise-level directory services and integration with various applications and platforms.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in complex, distributed systems.
