One Hope United is looking for a skilled Chief Financial Officer to lead the organization in continued growth. The successful candidate will play a critical role in overseeing the financial operations of One Hope United and serve as a partner and advisor to the President/CEO and Board. This position will be responsible for managing the financial health of the organization, developing and implementing financial strategies, and ensuring the integrity of financial information.

  • A minimum of 10 years managerial/leadership roles in financial leadership and administration.
  • Advanced knowledge of accounting principles, and theories and the ability to resolve complex accounting problems.
  • Experience working within a state interfacing agency, State of Illinois funding mechanisms and contracts, and a similar organization with significant state funding and contracts preferred.
  • Proficiency in presenting information to top management, and state staff. Regulatory agencies, and members of the business community.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common state and federal statutes, financial reports, and legal documents.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field required; MBA/Master’s is preferred
