Job Summary:

The Channel Sales Leader is a new and pivotal B2B sales leadership role for our business, responsible for developing and nurturing strategic channel relationships while executing growth-oriented sales plans with key customers. Reporting directly to the President and as part of the leadership team, this dynamic role will contribute to our strategic business plan and help drive key operational decisions. The ideal candidate is a high-energy, growth-oriented B2B sales leader who is as passionate about building people as they are about driving profitable growth and fostering long-term business relationships for exceptional success. The candidate will have successfully managed complex sales and channel customers, and ideally brings expertise from the Industrial PPE, Cleanroom, or other relevant business.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive B2B Channel Growth: Accelerate the profitable growth of Valutek’s strategic product portfolio with our targeted industrial channel partners and key market segments, including Advanced Manufacturing, Aerospace Manufacturing, Medical Device Manufacturing, and Semiconductor Manufacturing.
  • Build Strategic Partnerships: Expand the Valutek brand, build strategic business relationships, and drive mutually profitable growth with our channel customers.
  • Lead the Channel Strategy: Own the North American channel strategy to support specific partnerships and expand our channels to optimize market access to accelerate growth in our target markets.
  • Deliver Sales Growth: Provide technical, product, marketing, and professional training support to our distributor sales partners to enhance their performance and sales productivity.
  • Supply Chain Management: Collaborate with customers and our supply chain team to maintain and support inventory management plans while transparently managing new business opportunities in our CRM system.
  • Market Intelligence: Proactively share valuable market intelligence, including customer behavior trends, pricing strategies, competitive positioning, and innovation opportunities, to enhance Valutek’s competitive advantage.

 

Core Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of successful B2B Sales Team Leadership experience, preferably with a PPE manufacturer, cleanroom solutions provider, or growth-oriented industrial channel distributor.
  • Hybrid Sales Leadership Expertise: Proficiency in leveraging digital tools and optimizing hybrid sales roles to enhance customer engagement and sales productivity.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and strategic presentation skills, both virtual and face-to-face, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of customer organizations.
  • Team Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills with a proven track record of working effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
  • Technical Proficiency: Mastery of marketing tools and platforms including CRM systems (HubSpot), Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills: Ability to manage long sales journeys with channel and customers, including coaching and motivating sales professionals to achieve success throughout the sales cycle.

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
