  • As a Purchasing Manager you will play a critical role in our product development process by identifying and sourcing raw materials for projects and formulas ensuring the availability of high-quality and cost-effective materials to meet our production requirements, you will manage supplier relationships, coordinate with the R&D team, and facilitate efficient collaboration with sourcing and procurement
  • This role requires a strong background in chemistry and a strategic mindset to drive continuous improvement in our sourcing practices
  • Identify and evaluate potential raw material suppliers based on quality, cost, reliability, and regulatory compliance
  • Establish and maintain relationships with existing and potential suppliers, fostering strong partnerships to ensure a consistent and reliable supply chain
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective supply chain management, including sourcing, procurement, and inventory control
  • Negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best possible prices for components and materials
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and high-quality goods
  • Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement, then develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory levels and reduce costs
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including product specifications and test results
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including safety and quality standards

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field
  • Proven experience and understanding of cosmetic ingredients and suppliers
  • Strong understanding of procurement and inventory control principles
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Procurement: 3 year+
  • Purchasing: 2 year+
