About You


We are seeking a dedicated Associate Attorney to join our reputable law firm. As an Associate Attorney, you will play a pivotal role in providing legal counsel and representation to our clients, while working closely with an experienced Reproductive Law Attorney. As an Associate Attorney you will have the ability to make a significant impact in the lives of our clients. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Consulting with clients.
  • Drafting of contracts, pleadings, and other legal documents.
  • Filing parentage cases with the court.
  • Occasional attendance at court hearings (usually remote).
  • Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law.
  • Ability to manage full matter and/or case handling responsibilities.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Requirements and Experience

  • Admitted to practice in California (or other states) and in good standing.
  • Two (2+ years) experience in a law practice required.
  • Experience in family law is a plus.
  • Outstanding legal writing skills.
  • Ability to think and act independently and with minimal supervision.
  • Solid experience in an PC environment with Microsoft Office as well as Adobe, Time Matters (or similar customer database systems).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; demonstrated understanding of correct grammar, spelling and punctuation.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment with all levels of experience, proactively address issues, foster a professional attitude, and demonstrate integrity.
  • Strong time management skills, ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, to coordinate multiple tasks concurrently, and to meet deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and organization is a must.
