Billing Systems Analyst - Job Overview
As a Billing Systems Analyst, you will play a crucial role in managing and enhancing our billing systems with a specialized focus on Zuora Billing. This role emphasizes leveraging Zuora Data Query or SQL to drive data analysis, optimize billing processes, and support reporting needs. Familiarity with Salesforce, Netsuite, and Zuora Revenue will enhance your ability to contribute within our integrated systems environment.
In this role, you will:
- Manage and maintain Zuora Billing, ensuring efficient, accurate, and compliant billing operations.
- Integrate Zuora with other key systems (Salesforce, Netsuite, and Zuora Revenue) to streamline data flow and enhance cross-platform functionality.
- Develop, execute, and optimize data queries in Zuora or using SQL to meet business reporting and data analysis needs.
- Identify and implement process improvements within Zuora Billing to optimize workflows and enhance system capabilities.
- Analyze billing data to uncover trends, detect discrepancies, and identify areas for performance enhancement.
- Collaborate with finance, billing, and accounting teams to understand requirements and deliver tailored technical solutions.
- Serve as a liaison between technical teams and business units, ensuring seamless communication and alignment on objectives.
- Participate in system-related projects, including upgrades, new implementations, and system integrations to maintain optimal performance.
You are a strong fit for this role if you have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience as a Systems Analyst or similar role, focusing on billing systems, with strong proficiency in Zuora Billing.
- Expertise in Zuora Data Query or SQL for advanced data handling and reporting.
- Strong experience using Zuora REST APIs.
- Experience with Salesforce, Netsuite, and Zuora Revenue is a strong advantage.
- Solid knowledge of billing processes, financial systems, and data analysis techniques.
- Exceptional analytical skills, enabling you to interpret complex data sets and make data-informed decisions.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for effectively addressing and resolving system issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to facilitate clear interaction across teams.
- Experience in project management, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines consistently.
This position is ideal for a proactive analyst with deep expertise in Zuora Billing and data analysis, ready to drive optimization and integration across our billing ecosystem.
