Job Summary:

As a Graduate Landscape Architect / Landscape Architectural Designer at Creative Environments, 3-5 years of experience and a professional degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field is required. Proficiency in CAD, LandFX, and Adobe Suites (Photoshop and InDesign) is essential; 3D software proficiency is preferred. Strong organizational and communication skills and demonstrate professional work habits are a must. Previous experience in design development and construction documents is highly valued. Responsibilities include design analyses, project specifications, report writing, and plan design production under senior staff guidance.

Duties/Responsibilities:

·         Performs analyses of design, planning, and plan studies, and limited design layouts.

·         Prepares project specifications, compiling and analyzing relevant data.

·         Writes reports and specifications. Reviews completed reports, plans, and calculations.

·         Performs basic to moderate plans design production work which includes base plan drafting, entry level plan drafting material board/samples collection, booklet, and graphics production under the tutelage of a Senior L. Architect/ural Designer

Required Skills/Abilities:

·         Required software proficiency in architectural software like CAD/LandFX/Adobe Suites (Photoshop and InDesign)

·         Software proficiency in 3d architectural software is preferred but not required

·         Fully competent in all conventional aspects of L. Architecture.

·         Professional work habits; Multitasking, well organized, efficient deadline

·         management, good notetaking

·         Possess clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

·         Previous landscape architecture office or studio/architectural experience that includes work on design development and construction documents is highly valued, but not required.

Education and Experience:

·         3 to 5 years of professional experience in L. Architecture or related field

·         Professional Degree in Landscape Architecture or Architecture/related field

Physical Requirements:

·         Ability to sit/stand for extended periods while working on a computer or designing

·         Frequent use of hands for typing, mouse control, and operating office equipment.

·         Excellent eye-hand coordination and visual acuity to distinguish details in technical drawings and computer screens

·         Ability to perform repetitive motions such as typing and mouse movements

·         Ability to stand, walk, & use stairs occasionally for site visits or meetings

·         Ability to lift and carry items up to 20 pounds, such as laptops, documents, and supplies

·         Clear communication skills for discussing projects with team members and clients

·         Comfortable working in a typical office environment with standard lighting and temperature controls
