Job Title: Quality Inspector
Location: Brook Park, OH
Pay: $15/hr
Shift: 2nd Shift
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Quality Inspector to join our team at a leading phyllo dough manufacturing company. This 2nd shift role is essential in ensuring our products meet strict quality standards and comply with food safety regulations. Responsibilities:
- Perform inspections of raw materials, in-process, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Document findings and maintain accurate records of quality checks and production data.
- Collaborate with production staff to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure adherence to food safety protocols and GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices).
- Conduct tests on product samples for weight, dimensions, texture, and other quality parameters.
- Report any deviations or non-conformances to the Quality Assurance Manager.
- Assist with audits and the implementation of quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintain a clean and organized inspection area, ensuring compliance with company policies.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in food manufacturing or quality inspection is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, HACCP, and GMPs is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
