Compensation:
- In accordance with California law, the expected salary range for this position is posted with this position. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
Role Summary
As a Physical Therapist, you will be pivotal in supporting children, youth, and families facing life’s toughest challenges. Whether you provide hands-on case management, help to develop life skills, or provide emotional support, your work will directly impact the lives of those we serve.

- Experience working in social services, education, mental health, or related fields (preferred but not required)

How you will Impact Change:
- Provide direct intervention in the child's natural environment; home, at a center-based site or school. Coordinate scheduling to meet the needs of the family, ensuring weekly visits are met as authorized by the Regional Center or school district.
- Participate in the development and implementation of each child’s Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP) and/or Individualized Education Plan (IEP) in collaboration with the family and education team, providing progress reports as required by each Regional Center or Local Education Agency.
- Collaborate with other providers, such as speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, developmental specialists, and educators to ensure comprehensive care.
- Provide guidance and training to parents and caregivers on how to support their child’s development at home, including therapeutic exercises and activities.
- Communicate through verbal/or written reports with the client’s family and Service Coordinator at Regional Center/Case Worker at School District.
Education and Credentials
- A doctorate, master’s or bachelor’s degree in physical therapy from an accredited institution is required.
- California physical therapy state licensure is required.
- A minimum of one year of experience as a physical therapist, working with infants/children. Two years’ experience is preferred.
- Experience working in multi-cultural situations is preferred.
- Bilingual (Spanish preferred)
