Assistant Vice President

In 2018, the Medical Center earned designation in LGBTQ Healthcare Equality from the Human Rights Campaign Foundation. We are currently looking for an Assistant Vice President, Behavioral Health. In this role, you will be responsible for:

Essential Functions:

• Guiding and directing the Behavioral Health department to achieve consistent outcomes aligned with the mission, philosophy, goals, and objectives of a High Reliability Organization.
• Assumes leadership responsibility for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of effective and efficient clinical systems exceeding customer expectations; including patients, nursing, support services, physicians and overall community.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing. BSN required. MA/MS Degree preferred
• Current state licensure as Registered Nurse (RN)
• Current theoretical approaches to delivering nursing care and strategies for examining and applying relevant concept
• Current leadership, management and performance improvement concepts
• Minimum five to seven years experience in upper level management required.
• Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal and demonstrated writing skills.
