The Director, Product UX, Digital Experience is a key driver of innovation and continuous progress across our client-facing portfolio technology, Knowledge Cubed. This critical role is essential in ensuring that our clients experience a best-in-class digital experience, aligning with Savills’ commitment to excellence. The Director will oversee the design and user experience strategy, ensuring that the platform meets and exceeds client needs. A crucial aspect of this role is establishing and maintaining robust client feedback loops to continuously gather insights, enabling data-driven enhancements that keep our platform at the forefront of the industry. The ideal candidate will work directly with the client-facing technology team and closely collaborate with the broader Savills technical and digital transformation/innovation teams to drive impactful product improvements, ensuring the platform remains an industry leader.


Essential duties & responsibilities

  • Product Management:

o Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and continuous improvement.

o Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UX/UI designers, developers, and business stakeholders, to deliver high-quality product features.

o Prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business priorities and client needs.

  • UX/UI Design:

o Lead the UX/UI design process to ensure an intuitive and seamless user experience.

o Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and make data-driven design decisions.

o Ensure the platform's design is consistent, accessible, and meets the needs of a global user base.

o Curate & collaborate on development of content for marketing and business development purposes such as mockups of innovations, visuals for inclusion in marketing materials and digital/video content describing current and upcoming platform features and functionality.

  • Development Program Management:

o Oversee front-end and back-end development processes to ensure timely and efficient delivery of product features.

o Implement best practices in agile development, continuous integration, and continuous delivery.

o Coordinate with development teams to resolve issues and ensure high-quality code standards.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration:

o Be a part of the GOS Digital Experience team to gather and prioritize requirements. Work closely with key stakeholders throughout Savills to ensure the product roadmap is fit for purpose and aligned with broader organizational goals.

o Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency.

  • Client Feedback & Improvement:

o Establish and maintain client feedback loops to continuously gather insights and improve the platform.

o Analyze client feedback and usage data to identify areas for improvement and inform product decisions.

o Present regular updates on progress, needs, and challenges to senior leadership and key stakeholders.

  • Resource Management:

o Coordinate with digital, UX/UI, and Data Analytics region specialists to support the product globalization efforts.

o Leverage the expertise of regional specialists to enhance the overall digital experience and product quality.

  • Globalization Strategy & Roadmap:

o Contribute to the development and implementation of the globalization strategy for the Knowledge Cubed platform.

o Create and manage a detailed product roadmap that aligns with the strategic goals of the organization.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, UX/UI Design, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in product management.
  • Deep understanding of UX/UI design principles and practices.
  • Strong knowledge of front-end and back-end development processes.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience with global product management and strategy is highly desirable.
