In turn, we are dedicated to ensuring our team of caregivers feel the same compassion provided to the residents.If any part of this message resonates with you, then Complete Care at Shorrock Gardens wants to hear from youLicensed Practical Nurse-LPN Unit Manager Qualifications & Responsibilities:Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in NursingCurrent, Unencumbered New Jersey Licensed Practical Nurse LicensePrevious long-term care experience is preferred but not requiredPrior experience in inpatient and palliative care is preferredPrior experience managing staff is preferredSupervise the nursing staff on assigned shift by: monitoring the distribution of medications, blood draws, and other elements of patient careConduct nursing rounds on all each unit multiple times throughout the shiftProvide education, as needed, to staff, residents and resident family membersAssess the unique needs of each patient to determine appropriate treatment plansTrack treatments and patient progress according to HIPAA guidelinesCoordinate with supervising physicians to ensure smooth recovery process for residentsEnsure staff are performing all duties in accordance with local, state, and federal guidelinesOther duties as assigned by Assistant Director of Nursing, Director of Nursing or AdministratorLicensed Practical Nurse-LPN Unit Manager Schedules & Benefits:Schedule: Full-time, dayshift, Monthly on-call rotation, which includes a weekend.Daily Pay OptionHealth, dental, vision and PTO for full-time employeesOpportunities for advancementComplete Care at Shorrock Gardens is an equal opportunity employer.
