Position Summary:

Provides world-class guest service on our gaming floor, taking drink orders, serving alcohol and non-alcoholic beverages to guests, and taking payment for purchases by departmental procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Promotes superior guest service.
  • Maintains and perpetuates a positive organizational culture according to the principles of the Spirit of Tâlícn and the Core Values of ilani.
  • Provides coaching and training to Beverage Servers.
  • Serves as a liaison between Beverage Servers and the management team.
  • Uses point of sale terminal and completes other cashiering functions.
  • Consistently applies knowledge of state liquor laws, including proper identification procedures, monitoring levels of intoxication, intervention strategies, refusal of service, and shutoff procedures.
  • Responsible for handling all payment methods.
  • Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma / GED; Recognized Equivalent of a High School Diploma (RED) or Foreign High School Diploma (FHD).
  • One year of experience serving in a high-volume food and beverage setting.
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to foster a supportive and enabling team environment.
  • A successful candidate must be over 21 years of age.
  • Must be dependable, flexible, and available to work any shift, especially nights and weekends.
  • This is a standing position, and includes bending and lifting; you must be able to do this job effectively for an 8-hour shift.
  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
  • Must be willing to work in a smoking environment.
  • Must be willing to adhere to company health and safety measures.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • One year of experience Supervising in a high-volume food and beverage setting.

$16.30 - $17.93
