CAD Technician

Addison Group is working with a land surveying and engineering company in search for a CAD Technician to join their team. This is a 6 month contract role and 5 days onsite in Minnetonka MN. Please apply to be considered


Tasks & Responsibilities:

· Create, edit, and modify CAD drawings

· Apply Westwood Company CAD standard, practices, and procedures in creating and modifying CAD drawings

· Collaborate in a team environment

· Coordinate filing, storage, and retrieval of drawings and documents

· Work with extreme precision and accuracy in creating design drawings

· Plot and check drawings

· Willing to take on other duties as assigned


Years’ Experience/Degree Requirements: 4 years’ experience; Highschool or higher


Required Tech/Experience:

  • Experience and knowledge of latest version of AutoCAD/Civil 3D
  • Design skills and knowledge
  • Possess basic mathematical skills and analytical abilities
  • Attention to detail, self-motivated and a Team player
  • Working Knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat/Bluebeam
  • Willingness to learn and grow is a must
  • Technical degree or certification in AutoCAD
  • Experience AutoCAD Civil 3D or GIS mapping services
  • Land Development Design Experience
