Key Responsibilities
As COO, you will:
- Collaborate closely with the leadership team to define and implement the company’s strategic vision and growth roadmap.
- Design and optimize scalable operational systems and processes to support the demands of a rapidly growing, high-tech start-up.
- Build and manage cross-functional teams, fostering alignment and collaboration across operations, sales, engineering, supply chain, and logistics functions.
- Develop innovative workflows and tools to accelerate engineering productivity and efficiency.
- Lead global logistics operations, ensuring seamless material movement to meet production and delivery goals.
- Oversee budgets, manage operational spending, and align activities with overall financial objectives.
- Proactively identify operational risks and implement robust mitigation strategies to ensure business continuity and resilience.
Key Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess a balance of strategic vision, operational expertise, and hands-on leadership. You should have:
- Proven experience in a COO or equivalent executive leadership role in a start-up or high-growth environment, ideally within the Mobility sector.
- A track record of scaling operational processes and infrastructure to meet growth demands in a dynamic setting.
- Expertise in global logistics, including material movement and transit planning across multiple modes of transportation (air, sea, and land).
- Background in manufacturing, supply chain, or logistics with the ability to integrate these into cohesive, scalable strategies.
- Experience developing innovative processes to empower technical and engineering teams.
- Familiarity with operational technology stacks and their practical applications in a fast-paced business environment.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and guide diverse teams toward achieving ambitious goals.
