Job Description:

The IT Functional Analysis role focuses on designing information systems that align with users' needs and the organization's overall information systems architecture. This includes:

Collecting and analyzing user requirements to define system scope and objectives.
Preparing flowcharts, models, and procedures, conducting feasibility studies to design system solutions.
Estimating costs and preparing project plans for decision-making on prioritization and IT resource allocation.
Preparing and maintaining technical documentation to guide users and support system operations, maintenance, and development.
Leveraging agile methodologies to design and configure solutions.
Collaborating with business teams to develop training, change management, and operational processes.
Developing use cases, customer scenarios, and test plans for newly developed or enhanced applications.
Identifying opportunities to automate business processes using technology and providing consultation on automated systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Configure Workday modules, including Core HCM, Talent, Performance, Core/Advanced Compensation, Learning, and Absence.
Provide functional leadership across multiple Workday HCM areas.
Offer consultation to Business Partners and COEs, understanding domain needs, providing solutions, and conducting impact analysis.
Design, develop, and deploy system configurations and enhancements based on business requirements.
Configure and maintain business processes, calculated fields, condition rules, notifications, templates, and custom reports in Workday.
Support Workday EIB and maintain security groups, roles, and permissions.
Configure and manage security policies, domains, business processes, roles, groups, and permissions.
Work closely with business teams to understand their needs, identify gaps, and continuously improve the Workday platform.
Collaborate with IT and HR teams to resolve issues, evaluate enhancements, and manage system upgrades or conversions.
Troubleshoot and resolve system issues promptly to ensure smooth Workday operations.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization within Workday.
Lead Workday's semi-annual release process, working with business teams to evaluate upcoming capabilities and optimize system usage.
Support all stages of the software development life cycle, including integration, configuration, data conversion, functional specifications, testing, go-live, and post-implementation support.

Skills, Experience & Competencies Required:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Strong understanding of Workday HCM, including Absence, Talent and Performance, Core and Advanced Compensation, Recruiting, and Learning.
In-depth knowledge of HR processes, systems, and best practices.
Workday Partner/Pro Certification in at least two of the specified functional areas.
7-8 years of hands-on system configuration and support experience in Workday HCM.
Experience with project management and Agile methodologies.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with strong organizational and time management skills.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.

Pay Transparency:

The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $70.00-$75.00per hour. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience and the benefits package you select. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages. Packages may include medical, dental, and vision benefits, 10 paid days off, 401(k) plan participation, commuter benefits and life and disability insurance.
