Skilled trades are essential, you know that, because you’ve been working in your trade for years, you also know how important it is that the next generation of tradesmen and women learn their skills from people who have ‘been there and done it’, and not just from books.


Your primary role will be to facilitate student learning, not only helping students achieve their program and course objectives but guiding them as they shape their future in the industry. Instructors organize all aspects of the classroom function, including cleanliness, safety, demonstration materials, and lecture. You will administer lessons following a pre-developed lesson plan, leading your students through the practical, hands-on application of the lessons you teach.


I would love to chat with any Electricians that are looking to bring their skill set into a college setting. You don't have to have the teaching experience, but it is helpful. You do have to have at least 5-7 years in the field, ideally having trained and taught others as well.
