Location: Ocoee, FL (On-site at Florida Turnpike Enterprise HQ)

Compensation: $35,000/year, W2

Duration: December 2024 – December 31, 2025 (40 hours per week)

Summary:


TekBank is seeking an entry-level Financial Books and Records Transformation Analyst to support the Florida Turnpike Enterprise (FTE) in its transition to the statewide Florida PALM (Planning, Accounting, and Ledger Management) system. This role is crucial for aligning FTE’s financial operations with the new platform through detailed analysis, data management, and process

improvement.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and maintain process maps for current and future financial operations to align with Florida PALM requirements.
  • Lead documentation and optimization of financial processes for effective integration.
  • Conduct analysis and reconciliation of FTE’s Chart of Accounts (COA) to ensure compatibility with Florida PALM.
  • Oversee migration of financial data, prioritizing data accuracy and integrity.
  • Create and implement new Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for financial operations.
  • Develop and execute testing plans to validate system functionality and data consistency.
  • Collaborate with Florida PALM Project Team and FTE stakeholders for a smooth transition.


Required Qualifications:


  • At least 3 years of experience in financial accounting and reporting.
  • Advanced Excel skills, with demonstrated experience in process mapping and improvement.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines independently and within team environments.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience with Oracle or similar system transformation implementations.
  • Familiarity with Power Query, PowerPivot, or similar tools.
  • Experience with process modeling software (e.g., IBM Blueworks or Visio).


Education:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
