Physician Assistant, Internal Medicine

We are hiring a skilled and compassionate Physician Assistant (PA) to join an Inpatient Internal Medicine team in New York. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with physicians and a multidisciplinary care team to manage hospitalized patients with diverse acute and chronic conditions. The ideal candidate will bring strong clinical skills, a proactive approach to patient care, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospital environment.Key Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, formulate diagnoses, and initiate treatment plansOrder and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, imaging)Prescribe medications and perform minor procedures as credentialedCollaborate with physicians, nurses, and other team members to coordinate careParticipate in daily rounds and discharge planningDocument accurately in the Electronic Health Record (EHR)Ensure regulatory compliance and high-quality, patient-centered careQualifications:Bachelor's degree from an accredited PA program (Master?s preferred)NCCPA certificationActive, unrestricted PA license in New York StateDEA registration1?2 years of experience in an inpatient or hospitalist medicine settingStrong clinical judgment, communication, and EHR proficiencyCompensation & Benefits:Full medical, dental, and vision benefitsCME allowance and professional development opportunitiesMalpractice coverage and 401(k) optionsSupportive, collaborative clinical environmentLet me know if you?d like a version for a specific platform (Indeed, LinkedIn, hospital website) or if the tone should be more formal or casual.Job Types: Full-time, ContractPay: $100,000.00 - $135,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)Relocation assistanceAbility to Relocate:Far Rockaway, NY 11691: Relocate with an employer provided relocation package (Required)Work Location: In person
