In this role you will be responsible for the interpretation of AML Risk standards, guidelines, policies and procedures. You will review flagged alerts and determine if the account should be closed out or if the account can remain open. Additionally, you will make a risk based determination through Quality Analysis whether alerts were properly cleared by Compliance Alerts Analysts.


As a Financial Crimes Specialist II, you will be reviewing basic or tactical issues, policies, or procedures for which answers can be quickly obtained related to low-risk tasks and deliverables with narrower impact in Financial Crimes. It will be your responsibility to ensure Alert data has been accurately collected and documented, including but not limited to: Investigations data, Suspicious Activity Reports (SARS) & Currency Transaction Reports (CTR), Know Your Customer (KYC) information, any relevant account and transaction data and all required information which would assist in an investigation. Strong research, analytical and comprehension skills, with ability to analyze large amounts of data. Excel: Vlookups, IF Statements, Pivot Tables.
