Job DescriptionOnshape is a next-generation Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) product development platform that helps businesses of all sizes modernize and accelerate their design and manufacturing processes. The cloud-native platform is the only all-in-one system that combines robust computer-aided design (CAD) with powerful data management and collaboration tools. Onshape helps extended design teams work together faster from any location and helps executives make better decisions with real-time business analytics and unprecedented visibility into their company’s operations.
Your ImpactYou will help with improving the tooling and continuous integration environment used by Onshape developers. Interns will work on several projects throughout their time that will be used immediately by developers.
Your TeamYou will be part of a team that is responsible for developing solutions that improve developer productivity, collaboration, and build and test performance. We treat interns like full-time developers who just happen to be around for a shorter period of time, so an intern will be a full-fledged team member with many of the same responsibilities as a full-time engineer.
Your Day-to-Day:- Develop new code to improve Onshape tooling
- Collaborate with colleagues in release engineering and development to identify, design, and implement solutions.
- Participate in the code review process both as reviewer and reviewee
- Fix bugs both in your new code and in existing code
- Must be enrolled in some type of degree program in one of the following or related fields: Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science.
- Comfort with at least two of (JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, C++, Python)
