*Hybrid role in Boston MA* Our industry-leading financial services client is seeking a Senior NodeJS Engineer.

Rate: $95 - 110 / hr. w2


Experience Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other related discipline
  2. Strong development skills and 5+ years of software development experience
  3. Learn and adopt new concepts & technologies quickly and implement them effectively in projects.
  4. Demonstrated technical leadership experience.
  5. Rapidly develop large scale distributed enterprise applications based on requirement documents, prototypes, or verbal requirements
  6. Work across peer groups to resolve and understand complex technical/design issues.
  7. Strong written and verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal skills
  8. Motivated, self-directed, results-oriented
  9. Experience with Microservices based architecture and microservice development with strong API design skills.
  10. 5+ years of experience working in JavaScript and TypeScript with NodeJS
  11. Development and support of large scale NodeJS, Express applications.
  12. Experience with Mongoose, Casbin, Axios would be a plus.
  13. Experience building reusable NodeJS modules and comfortable using NPM to manage dependencies.
  14. API first approach for building products.
  15. Event driven application experience using Kafka or any messaging platform.
  16. Experience with AWS Services such as S3, EC2 etc.
  17. Comfortable with container technologies using Docker and Kubernetes.
  18. Experience using NoSQL database like MongoDB
  19. Experience or knowledge of working with Elastic Search.
  20. Experience with system and application design and architecture patterns
  21. Experience using source control for feature-driven development in Bitbucket/Stash
  22. Strong Object-Oriented skills and experience with system design and microservice architecture
  23. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins & Artifactory
  24. Work experience in an Agile development environment

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.

W2 employees of Eliassen Group who are regularly scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week are eligible for the following benefits: medical (choice of 3 plans), dental, vision, pre-tax accounts, other voluntary benefits including life and insurance, 401(k) with match, and sick time if required by law in the worked-in state/locality.
