Job Summary

Join Comcast’s State and Local Tax (“SALT”) Audit Team as a Senior Analyst to represent Comcast in SALT audit matters with government agencies. The Senior Analyst will be part of a collaborative team and prepare responses for document requests, analyzing data, and driving process improvements. Possesses knowledge of company tax and tax law.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with other team members in state and local tax audit matters with government agencies.
  • Research, analyze and respond to information requests from government agencies during the course of tax audits.
  • Participates in the development of tax audit plans and strategies.
  • Conducts internal audits relating to tax matters.
  • Contributes to process improvement through automation and technology implementation.
  • Ensures that records, returns and related reports comply with all federal, state and local regulations.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education

Bachelor's Degree

While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.

Relevant Work Experience

5-7 Years
