Sabre is seeking talented Software Engineers (Active Secret clearance) able to bring their skills, experiences, and determination to our growing development teams. You should also be adept at quickly embracing new technologies and providing creative solutions to difficult technical challenges. Solutions should not only meet functional requirements but also be scalable, reliable, secure and optimized for performance. You will have the opportunity to grow with the company and your work will have an immediate and direct impact on the success of the program.

Our Software Engineers are responsible for designing, developing, and integrating software solutions. The primary role is to build high-quality, innovative, and fully performing software which integrates with other system components. Individuals will participate in different phases of a project, including architecture, system design, coding, unit testing, integration and maintenance, and customer support.

Responsibilities include:

  • Embedded Systems Software Engineers
  • DevOps Engineers
  • Security Developers (SecDevOps)
  • Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning Developers
  • Mobile App Developers
  • Data Scientists (Big Data Developer)
  • Full-Stack Web Developers

The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at our client sites: DC, VA, MD, NJ, and PA.


Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess knowledge and technical skills in one or more of the following:

  • Knowledge of/experience developing firmware for systems
  • Programming experience using any modern programming languages
  • Knowledge of CPU or microcontrollers hardware architecture
  • Technical background with machine learning, deep learning, open-source software
  • Technical skills in areas such as software development, cloud computing, distributed systems, and containerization
  • General knowledge of software system architecture and structured software development environments
  • Understanding of object-oriented design principles
  • Knowledge of cyber-security and encryption
  • Knowledge of Agile software development methods
  • Experience working collaboratively on a team with a mix of hardware and software engineers
  • US Citizenship and an Active Secret (or higher level) clearance
