Support trade compliance at a niche law firm. Hybrid working conditions in Washington, DC.

EXPECTATIONS

  1. Conduct research on potential overseas customers subject to US and foreign Sanctions
  2. Manage Excel files and provide Excel reports
  3. Make HTS classification determinations
  4. Use denied party screening software
  5. Prepare government filings
  6. Prepare submissions for attorneys, clients and for government filings
  7. Research and analyze information

ESSENTIALS

  1. Experience with customs compliance and international trade
  2. Experience with a consulting or law firm helpful
  3. HTS classification experience
  4. Experience with Excel and Excel reports essential
  5. Excellent analytical, writing and communication skills
  6. Bachelor’s Degree required
  7. Customs Broker’s License helpful
  8. Washington, DC locals only please
