You Will:

  • Manage aerosol development projects; including planning, scheduling, budgeting and resource allocation.
  • Apply in-depth knowledge of aerosol technology to develop innovative products.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on formulation, propellant selection, valve design, filling processes, and product testing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet customer expectations, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize manufacturing processes, reduce cost, and ensure adherence to safety and environmental requirements.
  • Maintain knowledge of regulations and standards governing aerosol products (e.g., PHMSA, CPSC, FDA, EPA, REACH) and ensure compliance throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Drive continuous improvement to enhance product performance, efficiency, and sustainability.
  • Partner with R&D, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and regulatory affairs teams to achieve project objectives and deliver successful products.

You Have:

  • Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of five (5) years' experience in aerosol product development, engineering, or manufacturing.
  • Experience in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry preferred.
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements for aerosol products.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to operate as an effective leader and representative of Plastipak.
  • Ability to travel (10-20%).
