As an Associate Attorney, you will play a key role in managing civil litigation defense cases across various practice areas, including Employment and Labor Law, General Litigation, Business Law, Personal Injury, Premises Liability, Product Liability, Construction Defects, Landlord/Tenant disputes, Contracts/Commercial matters, and Employment Law. Your ability to build and maintain client relationships will be crucial in delivering exceptional customer experiences.
You'll do
- Handle all phases of civil litigation defense, from inception through trial, including discovery, motions, and trial preparation.
- Conduct thorough legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and other legal documents.
- Maintain and cultivate client relationships by providing regular updates, legal advice, and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Represent clients in court, including pre-trial hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.
- Prepare and review legal reports, contracts, briefs, and other documentation.
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients, aiming for favorable outcomes while minimizing costs and risks.
- Work closely with Partners and other team members to strategize and execute case plans effectively.
- 2+ years of Insurance Defense, and Litigation
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
- CA Bar
