We are looking for a skilled Procurement Manager to oversee vendor management and source raw materials and equipment. This role includes managing two Purchasing Coordinators and contributing to growth of the company.


  • Anticipate $80K - $100K+ annually, BOE

Key responsibilities:


  • Manage procurement processes and vendor relationships.
  • Assist in the transition to a new ERP system
  • Collaborate closely with the team to ensure all purchasing activities meet operational needs.


Other responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement purchasing strategies.
  • Create and manage purchase orders and budgets.
  • Track metrics to reduce costs and enhance efficiency.
  • Negotiate deals with favorable terms.
  • Monitor market trends and buyer-supplier dynamics.
  • Forecast demand levels.
  • Conduct cost analysis and benchmarking.
  • Assess and mitigate risks in procurement.
  • Establish and improve purchasing procedures.
  • Partner with reliable vendors.
  • Determine delivery schedules.
  • Draft and review contracts, communicating clearly in writing and verbally.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Administration.
  • 5+ years of experience in procurement, especially with metals and equipment.
  • Seeking managerial-level experience (in purchasing/procurement)
  • Experience in contract development and vendor management.
  • Strong negotiation and networking skills.
  • Familiarity with vendor management software.
  • Ability to analyze data effectively.
