  • Equipment Management: Track, release, and reposition equipment across all depots and terminals; manage temporary import permits, ensure accurate inventory records, and handle inquiries related to equipment availability.
  • Customer Support: Assure timely availability of equipment to meet shipping needs and issue work orders for equipment repositioning by rail or truck.
  • Operations Planning: Plan and steer empty containers on vessels, barges, and feeders; manage sales of containers and ensure all equipment is at the appropriate location.
  • Efficiency & Cost Control: Track and trace overdue equipment to reduce turnaround times, control costs for positioning equipment, evaluate vendor performance, and update reports.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Manage paperwork before customs authorities, create empty bookings as required, review gate in/out and transport invoices, and clean error files.
