HVAC Controls Technician needed for a well-established mechanical contractor in central Indiana

Do you have 5 years of experience as a HVAC Controls Technician and a passion for fieldwork. If so, we want to hear from you A well-established company is seeking an experienced Controls Technician to join their team and contribute to delivering exceptional results. 

RESPONSIBILITES


  • Install, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair building automation and control systems in the field.
  • Program and configure control systems, including HVAC, lighting, and energy management systems.
  • Perform field commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of control systems to ensure proper functionality.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to ensure accurate system installations.
  • Work closely with clients, contractors, and team members to complete projects effectively and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of service calls, programming changes, and system upgrades.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and technical support to clients.
  • Adhere to all safety standards and company policies while on job sites.

QUALIFICATIONS


  • 5 years of experience as a Controls Technician in field positions.
  • Strong understanding of building automation and control systems, including programming and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with clients and team members.
  • Experience in non-union environments is preferred.
