About the Role:
- Job Title: Physical Therapist (PT)
- Location: Avera Health System
- Job Type: Full-time
- Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm; 64hrs/2wks
Responsibilities:
- Restore patients' function, alleviate pain, and prevent disabilities by planning and administering medically prescribed therapy services in the home and healthcare facility setting.
- Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for the population served by Avera.
Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited physical therapy program of the American Physical Therapy Association.
- One or more years of experience in-hospital Physical Therapy, long-term care, or outpatient therapy preferred.
- Licensed by the State of South Dakota as a Physical Therapist required.
- Licensed as a Physical Therapist in the states of Nebraska, Iowa, Minnesota, or North Dakota may be required depending on the service area.
