Senior Financial Analyst

Location: Dallas, TX - Fully Onsite

Compensation: $90-$110K + Bonus + Profit Sharing


One of Vaco's large publicly traded clients is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join their finance team. The Senior Financial Analyst will focus on all things FP&A, providing strategic insights to enhance financial performance. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with executives and across departments.


Responsibilities:

  • Analyze P&L, and provide insights to support budget preparation and financial planning.
  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Collaborate with department heads to develop budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
  • Monitor financial performance against budget and recommend corrective actions as needed.
  • Analyze G&A expenses (CapEx, OpEx, etc).
  • Conduct in-depth financial modeling and scenario analysis to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Ad hoc financial analysis and reporting requests from management and stakeholders.
  • Mentor junior analysts, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.


Prerequisites:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or CFA preferred.
  • 4+ years of financial analysis experience
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and advanced Excel skills; experience with data visualization tools preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
