Engineering Project Scheduler & Coordinator (Aftermarket & Switchgear)
Location Alpharetta, GA
Duration: 12 months
Position Overview: The Engineering Project Scheduler & Coordinator will play a pivotal role in the planning, coordination, tracking, and adjustment of both aftermarket and switchgear engineering project schedules. This individual will facilitate communication across engineering teams, project managers, and scheduling departments to ensure seamless project execution. The role also involves assisting in inventory verification and managing logistical needs for engineering projects. The position is designed to be a backfill for a key team member and is integral to ensuring timely project milestones are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Schedule Coordination: Work directly with the Engineering Manager, Team Leads, Switchgear Engineering Managers, and the Scheduling Manager to develop and maintain project schedules for aftermarket and switchgear engineering projects.
- Communication & Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the communication bridge between aftermarket engineering, switchgear engineering, and project management teams, ensuring smooth coordination of project timelines and updates.
- Logistical Support: Assist with the verification and tracking of parts inventory for projects, and help manage the logistical needs of both aftermarket and switchgear projects.
- Aftermarket Production Scheduling: Coordinate with the aftermarket production team to align production schedules with engineering project timelines.
- Milestone Tracking & Adjustments: Monitor and update project milestones, identify potential delays, and work collaboratively with teams to adjust schedules and resolve challenges.
- Capacity Analysis: Partner with engineering teams to analyze and adjust engineering capacity based on project demands and available resources.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field with 1-2 years of relevant experience, or 3+ years of equivalent work experience.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience with scheduling, milestone tracking, and inventory management.
- Familiarity with SQL (desired).
Compensation, Benefits and Ancillaries
Compensation
This is the base hourly pay range that Aditi Consulting reasonably expects to pay someone for this position $30 - $35 (compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including but not limited to, a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, location and end client requirements).
