Position Summary
Join a dynamic team at Galleria Farms, a leading flower farm serving mass markets, wholesale clients, international markets, and e-commerce platforms. We are looking for a talented Graphic Designer with a flair for creating visually stunning content that reflects the vibrancy and beauty of our fresh-cut flowers. This role requires a creative thinker with exceptional design and photography skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Graphic Design:
- Design compelling marketing materials, including catalogs, flyers, social media graphics, email templates, and digital ads tailored to diverse customer segments.
- Create branding and packaging designs that resonate with wholesale, retail, and e-commerce audiences.
- Photography & Photo Editing:
- Conduct professional product photography sessions to showcase flowers in innovative and appealing ways.
- Edit and retouch photos to meet brand standards and optimize for various platforms (web, print, and social media).
- Creative Content Production:
- Collaborate with the Head of Creative and marketing team to develop visual assets for seasonal campaigns, product launches, and promotional initiatives.
- Ensure designs align with brand guidelines and meet the objectives of each campaign.
- Responsible for the collaboration, design, development, and maintenance of the company website.
- Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with the sales, marketing, and e-commerce teams to support their visual needs.
- Collaborate with the Director of Revenue to align creative projects with business objectives.
- Present designs and ideas to the CEO and leadership team for feedback and approval.
- Project Management:
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality work.
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate fresh ideas into your designs.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field
- Or equal work experience
- Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in graphic design, preferably in industries like agriculture, consumer goods, or e-commerce.
- Proven experience in product photography and photo editing.
- Technical Skills:
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Lightroom).
- Proficiency in photo editing and retouching techniques.
- Familiarity with video editing software is a plus.
- Core Competencies:
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience designing for diverse audiences, including mass market, wholesale, international, and e-commerce sectors.
- Passion for floral design or experience in the agriculture industry.
