Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Coordinator to join our team in Beachwood, OH. This role is ideal for someone with a solid background in workplace IT support who has transitioned into project coordination or management. You will work closely with an off-shore technical team while managing small-to-medium technical projects and resolving IT issues on-site. This is a hands-on role where your technical skills will be paired with your ability to manage projects and ensure smooth communication between technical teams and business users.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Support & Troubleshooting:

  • Provide hands-on support for local business users regarding IT issues such as network connectivity, hardware setups (e.g., printers, conference rooms), and general infrastructure needs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve common workplace technical issues, including networking, equipment setups, and minor system configurations.
  • Work with the off-shore technical team to escalate and resolve more complex issues when necessary.

Project Coordination & Management:

  • Manage small-to-medium technical projects on-site, ensuring tasks are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • Coordinate between business users and the offshore technical team to ensure technical requirements are met and project milestones are achieved.
  • Document project progress, track timelines, and report on project status to stakeholders.

Site Infrastructure Knowledge:

  • Learn and understand the infrastructure of the US region, working site by site to ensure all technical systems are functioning properly.
  • Act as the on-site representative for technical issues and small projects related to network infrastructure, hardware, and workplace technology.

Customer Service & Communication:

  • Deliver excellent customer service, ensuring business users receive timely and effective solutions to their technical problems.
  • Act as the point of contact for business users, helping translate their technical needs to the offshore team and managing their expectations.

Collaboration & Teamwork:

  • Work closely with the off-shore technical team and project managers to ensure alignment on tasks and deadlines.
  • Foster a collaborative environment where both technical and business teams can work efficiently together.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Technical Expertise:

  • 3-5 years of experience in workplace IT, with strong knowledge of network configurations, hardware support, and common technical troubleshooting.
  • A solid understanding of IT infrastructure and systems (e.g., switches, routers, printers, conference room tech).

Project Coordination Experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience in project coordination or management, preferably in a technical environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

Learning & Adaptability:

  • Able to quickly learn and understand the US region’s site-by-site infrastructure and systems.

Customer Service Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on customer service and user satisfaction.

Self-Motivated & Detail-Oriented:

  • Ability to work independently, stay organized, and keep projects moving without constant supervision.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.

Time Management:

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects efficiently, ensuring deadlines are met and quality is maintained.

Team Player:

  • Strong collaborator who works well in a team environment, both with on-site and offshore teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications: IT-related certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar) are a plus but not required.
  • Experience with project management tools and methodologies is a plus.
  • Experience with Offshore Teams: Experience working with off-shore technical teams and managing cross-regional communication is a plus.
