We are seeking an experienced Signal Integrity and Validation Engineer with a strong background in electrical engineering, consumer electronics, and battery-operated mobile devices.

As a Signal and Power Integrity Engineer at Reality Labs, you will play a critical role in designing and validating the next generation of consumer hardware systems. You will be part of our SIPI (Signal Integrity and Power Integrity) design team, where you’ll lead the simulation and validation of high-speed hardware systems, ensure lab validation aligns with design specifications, and enhance overall design quality. You will collaborate closely with Electrical Engineers (EE), system validation teams, and external vendors to help define and validate system requirements and hardware specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead signal integrity simulation and validation methodologies, including the creation of detailed test plans.
  • Develop automated scripts and workflows to optimize SIPI engineering processes.
  • Conduct high-speed interface signal integrity simulations and measurements.
  • Perform PDN (Power Distribution Network) simulations and measurements.
  • Validate high-speed interfaces in the lab to ensure specification alignment and correlation with simulation results.
  • Utilize simulation and lab data for design troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem resolution.
  • Support multiple projects, ensuring successful validation and troubleshooting.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in signal integrity simulation and measurement.
  • Strong understanding of signal and power integrity fundamentals and experience with PCB/flex design.
  • Proven expertise in impedance control, transmission line analysis, and the ability to create practical design guidelines.
  • Hands-on experience with developing workflow/test methodologies for signal integrity validation.
  • Proficiency with high-speed lab equipment and PHY compliance test fixtures.
  • Ability to create configurations and automated scripts for test systems.
  • Detail-oriented with strong documentation, reporting, and organizational skills.
