Job Summary

The Registered Nurse is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for providing nursing care to patients in their homes or in facilities. This role requires a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, and maintaining a high level of professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing care to patients in accordance with established standards and protocols.
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to meet those needs.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and industry developments.

Requirements

  • Graduate from a CCNE or NLN accredited nursing program is strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
  • License as a Registered Nurse in the State of South Dakota and/or meeting the requirements of Multi-state licensure is required.
  • Valid driver's license and insurability by the Avera Health automobile liability insurance carrier are also required.
