Job Summary: The EHS Specialist will be responsible for implementing and managing EHS programs that ensure compliance with ISO 45001 standards and GMP regulations. This role involves conducting risk assessments, developing safety protocols, and promoting a culture of safety and sustainability within the organization.


Key Responsibilities:


Compliance Management: Ensure adherence to ISO 45001 and GMP standards, conducting regular audits and inspections.

Risk Assessment: Identify potential hazards in the workplace, assess risks, and implement effective control measures.

Training and Education: Develop and deliver training programs on EHS policies, procedures, and best practices for employees at all levels.

Incident Investigation: Lead investigations of workplace incidents, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of EHS activities, incidents, and compliance audits; prepare reports for management and regulatory agencies.

Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives to enhance EHS performance, including the development of metrics to measure effectiveness.

Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS considerations into all operational processes.

Qualifications:


Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.

Minimum of [X] years of experience in EHS roles, preferably in manufacturing.

Strong knowledge of ISO 45001 and GMP standards.

Certification in occupational health and safety (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) is preferred.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Proficient in EHS software and Microsoft Office Suite.
