Job Summary:
As a Blow Mold Supervisor in the dairy industry, you will oversee the blow molding process for producing plastic containers used for dairy products. Your role is to ensure the efficient operation of blow molding machines, maintain quality control, and lead a team of technicians to achieve production goals while adhering to industry standards and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage a team of blow molding operators.
Oversee daily blow molding operations to ensure production targets and quality standards are met.
Monitor machine performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement preventive maintenance routines.
Conduct regular inspections of finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
Address and resolve any quality issues promptly.
Implement and oversee quality control processes and maintain accurate records.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reduction.
Ensure all operations comply with industry regulations and safety standards.
Conduct regular safety audits and promote a culture of safety within the team.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field is a plus.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in blow molding and/or manufacturing. With at least 1 year in a leadership role. Experience in the dairy industry, food packaging, or maintenance is highly desirable.
