Position Overview
The Electrical Project Manager will oversee and coordinate electrical projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet specifications, timelines, and budget requirements. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems and project management methodologies to drive successful project outcomes in both industrial and commercial settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and implementation of electrical projects.
- Oversee project timelines and budgets, ensuring adherence to schedules and financial limits.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and team members to ensure project objectives are met.
- Manage project documentation using tools like Bluebeam, Procore, and PlanGrid.
- Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings to monitor project progress and address any issues.
- Prepare and approve invoices and manage budget tracking processes.
- Create and manage punchlists to ensure all project aspects are completed to specifications.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations throughout project execution.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager in construction or industrial projects.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and project management methodologies.
- Familiarity with project management software such as Bluebeam, Procore, and PlanGrid.
- Ability to manage budgets and financial approvals, including invoice processing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders.
- Experience with tilt wall construction, pump rooms, and fire pumps is a plus.
