Frontend Developer – Lancaster, SC

Optomi, in partnership with a leader in pharmaceutical products is seeking a Frontend Developer to join their team as a full-time employee in the Lancaster SC area. The ideal candidate will have previous experience building and maintaining responsive, user-friendly web applications using modern front-end technologies like HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+), along with experience working with frameworks such as Node, React, Next and Vue.js.

Experience of the right candidate:

• 5+ years of front-end web development experience
• Strong experience in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+)
• Experience with modern frameworks such as React, Next.js, Vue.js, or Angular
• Experience working with email marketing platforms such as MailChimp or Klaviyo
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
• Experience working with content management systems like Shopify or WordPress
• An understanding of SEO principles, web performance tools, and responsive design

Responsibilities of the right candidate:

• Organize and implement webpage layouts, create and place web graphics, and manage assets as directed by the manager and business unit.
• Convert web designs into interactive, mobile-first, and responsive web pages using modern JavaScript frameworks and RESTful APIs.
• Manage the technical aspects of email marketing efforts, including designing, preparing, and executing email campaigns.
• Collaborate in a team environment to design, develop, and publish web content for both public websites and internal portals.
• Ensure SEO best practices are integrated into all web development processes.
• Contribute to the development and deployment pipeline using CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Manage e-commerce platform updates.
