Description Under the supervision of the Manager Radiology, the Ultrasound Technologist performs a variety of diagnostic ultrasound procedures on patients of all ages and assumes responsibility for accuracy under the supervision and guidance of the Radiologist. In addition, the Ultrasound Technologist shall work effectively with patients and assist clinic personnel in other areas of the Radiology Department as needed. Required Qualifications: Certificate of completion from an accredited ultrasound program / college. Or equivalent educ/experience. Combination of education and experience to achieve mandatory certification. upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association. upon hire: National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography. 1 year Training in an acute or ambulatory care facility performing a variety of ultrasound examinations. Preferred Qualifications: Associate's Degree Radiological Technology. 2 years Experience. EMR and IDX experience. Why Join Providence?
