Nesco Resource is parterning with their client in Wilton CT to identify an Inside Sales Rep for a full time direct hire opportunity.
Our Fairfield County client, a family-owned company with a friendly culture and outstanding benefits, is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Inside Sales Representative to join their team. Since 1930, they have been a leading supplier of premium natural vegetable and marine oils, widely used in the nutritional, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, personal care, food, and pet food industries.
The ideal candidate will be an outgoing, motivated professional with strong communication skills, comfortable connecting with customers over the phone, and occasionally traveling for in-person meetings. You'll travel three times a year to attend trade shows and three additional times annually to visit clients, helping to drive the company's growth and maintain its longstanding customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow sales within the existing customer base
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Conduct cold calls and build rapport with prospective clients
- Attend industry trade shows and represent the company
- Engage in face-to-face meetings with clients to strengthen relationships
- Assist with product costing and maintain a good understanding of pricing
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Previous sales experience preferred
- Strong communication skills and confidence in cold calling
- Comfortable with occasional travel
