RAYUS Radiology is a leading provider of diagnostic imaging services, and we're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologist to join our team.

About the Role

This is a full-time position with a standard schedule of 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Monday-Friday, with evening, weekend, and on-call availability required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient MR Imaging (80-85%):
    • Screens patients before exams for any precautions or contradictions.
    • Explains and prepares patients for MRI imaging procedures.
    • Performs routine and advanced MRI imaging procedures.
    • Adjusts MRI scan parameters correctly and as needed.
    • Maintains positive attitude and working relationships with radiologists and other associates.
    • Follows physicians' orders precisely and conforms to safety regulations.
    • Accurately maintains patient records within Radiology Information System (RIS).
    • Maintains an orderly and clean work area.
    • Maintains ACR toolkit and accreditation requirements.
    • Maintains equipment in good working order.
    • Ensures compliance with all HIPAA guidelines.
  • Team Supervision (10-15%):
    • Assists in the hiring process for new associates.
    • Coordinates the training and onboarding of new associates.
    • Leads regular team meetings and associates one-on-ones.
    • Monitors and approves timecards.
    • Initiates and participates in performance reviews, development, and performance management of associates.
    • Develops associate schedules to provide for planned time off.
    • Evaluates workflow and implements process improvements for the team.
    • Ensures team has knowledge of company and department policies.
    • Supports associates ensuring highest level of patient satisfaction.
    • Leads special projects and/or committees, as assigned.
    • Manages other departments in the absence of manager or peers.
  • Other Tasks (5%):
    • Completes other tasks as assigned.
