Senior Project Architect

Peacock + Lewis Architects and Planners is actively searching for a dynamic and skilled Senior Project Architect to join our growing team at our North Palm Beach, Fla., office. The Senior Project Architect will lead a team of architects and designers in the development and execution of complex architectural projects. This role requires a seasoned professional with a strong design portfolio, extensive project management experience, and exceptional leadership skills. The ideal candidate will oversee all phases of project development, from conceptual design through construction administration, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.


Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the architectural team through all project phases.
  • Oversee the development of design concepts and construction documents.
  • Ensure design integrity and quality standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Supervise, mentor, and provide professional development opportunities for team members.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors.
  • Present design proposals and project updates to clients.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with consultants, engineers, and other project stakeholders.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Conduct design reviews and quality checks at various project stages.
  • Implement best practices for project delivery and documentation.
  • Address and resolve design and construction issues promptly.
  • Assist in the preparation of proposals and presentations for new business opportunities.
  • Participate in client meetings and networking events to promote the firm’s services.
  • Contribute to the firm’s strategic planning and growth initiatives.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
