Consultant Paediatrician

Fixed Term – Sessional (0.5 FTE), 10 sessions per fortnight

Start Date: ASAP (with possibility of extension)

Join Kalgoorlie Hospital as a Consultant Paediatrician and make a significant difference in the lives of young patients and their families. This role is designed to cover maternity leave and involves providing expert clinical care to paediatric patients throughout the Goldfields region. Your primary base will be in Kalgoorlie, but you'll have the opportunity to travel across the scenic Goldfields region, bringing your expertise to various communities.

• Deliver high-quality clinical care in paediatrics.
• Collaborate closely with the Clinical Nurse Specialist of Paediatrics.
• Engage in policy development and clinical governance.
• Participate in emergency and critical care as part of the on-call roster.

You will be joining a dedicated team that includes three experienced paediatricians and five trainees, such as a Senior Registrar, Registrar, and two Residents in accredited paediatric training positions.
