ABOUT DYNAMIC DIES

Founded in 1971, we are one of the largest manufacturers of tooling for the corrugated box industry. We began as a small business in a rented garage and have expanded to a multi-state operation consisting of four manufacturing facilities located in Toledo, Ohio, Pittsburgh, PA, Indianapolis, IN, and Middletown, Ohio. Our state-of-the-art graphics operation is centralized at our Toledo manufacturing facility which is also home to our corporate offices. Our company now has around 200 employees, and we have been voted as a top workplace by our employees in 2017 and 2021.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR

Imagine walking through the grocery store and checking the boxes to see if you helped create that box. Or at your child's next birthday, their gift came in a box you helped create. As a Production Supervisor that's what you do-create tooling that makes boxes for the items you see and use everyday.

In this Production Supervisor position, you play a key role in creating the primary product that is sold to our customers. You ensure it's in perfect condition and lives up to the customer's expectations.

You will be responsible for supervising employees in the Cutting Die department. You will maximize shift productivity and minimize waste while maintaining the desired quality level. Using your keen eye for detail, you accurately read all machine specifications and CAD drawings to check that the work completed is correct. Additional responsibilities include ensuring training, addressing performance issues and performance reviews. This position is also a working supervisor position so the ability to step in help where needed is critical. QUALIFICATIONS FOR PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR

  • 3 years supervisory experience in a related industry or equivalent education
  • Proven success as a Die Maker
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to interact with all levels of employees and customers professionally
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to read a tape measure along with basic math skills
  • Ability to stand for up to 10 hours a day
