We are seeking a skilled and experienced Metal Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metal fabrication, be able to read and interpret blueprints, and have a keen eye for detail. Responsibilities:

- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine job requirements

- Set up and operate various metal fabrication equipment, such as shears, brakes, rollers, and welding machines

- Measure, cut, bend, and shape metal materials according to specifications

- Assemble and fit metal components together using various techniques, such as welding, bolting, and riveting

- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications

- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure proper functioning

- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on time

- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment

Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent- Minimum 2 years of experience in metal fabrication- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and drawings- Strong knowledge of various metal fabrication techniques, such as welding, cutting, and bending- Ability to operate metal fabrication equipment and tools safely and efficiently- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work- Strong communication and teamwork skills- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objectsPreferred Qualifications:- Certification in welding or metal fabrication- Experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and practices
