We're currently seeking a talented and detail-oriented Buyer / Planner to join our supply chain team. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our production processes run smoothly and efficiently, aligning with customer demands while optimizing inventory levels.

As a Buyer / Planner, you will play a critical role in coordinating the production and inventory of finished goods. Your expertise will help us meet customer expectations without overstocking, thereby minimizing costs and enhancing efficiency. This position demands a high level of analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the capacity to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain production schedules to ensure timely manufacturing in line with customer demand.
  • Collaborate with production teams to maximize production capacity and reduce lead times.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to achieve optimal stock levels, avoiding excess inventory and stockouts.
  • Implement inventory control measures to improve inventory turnover and reduce carrying costs.
  • Work closely with sales, customer service, and logistics teams to ensure prompt and accurate order fulfillment.
  • Liaise with suppliers to guarantee timely delivery of raw materials and components, maintaining strong communication to address any issues promptly.
  • Analyze production and inventory data to identify trends, patterns, and improvement areas.
  • Generate reports and track KPIs to provide actionable insights to management.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, quality standards, and company policies.
  • Drive continuous improvement by collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering (Electrical / Mechanical), or Supply Chain Management.
  • 2-3 years of direct experience in supply chain management, with a focus on production planning and inventory management.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in interpreting data.
  • Experienced in using inventory management software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Capable of multitasking and adapting to changing priorities.
